Sergio Ramos has claimed that ‘the team that made fewer mistakes won’ after Real Madrid’s loss to Atletico Madrid.
An early goal from Diego Costa gave the Rojiblancos a 1-0 win over their city rivals on Saturday evening, and the defender has admitted that his men were second best.
“The team that made fewer mistakes won the match,” he told the club’s official website.
“We have to keep working hard to win as many titles as possible. The important thing is how the season ends, not how it starts.
“When you do not win and things do not go how you wanted you have to reflect and take something out of the match.
“You cannot live in the past, you have to show every day that the team that makes fewer mistakes takes the win. We’ve showed heart but we’ve dropped points in Villarreal and here.
“We are missing a bit of movement and play between the lines. We have to keep working hard and take as many points as possible.”
