Barcelona have confirmed that Tata Martino will return to Argentina after Wednesday’s game with Ajax, due to the death of his father.
The 50-year-old, who was appointed as Barca Coach this summer as replacement for Tito Vilanova, has been confirmed by President Sandro Rosell as set to travel back to his homeland later this week after his father’s passing.
Martino, who gave today’s Press conference already aware of the news, will stay with the team until after their participation in this midweek’s Champions League opener with Ajax at the Camp Nou.
