Dani Alves has revealed his affection for Sevilla, despite scoring against them in a 3-2 win on Saturday.
The Brazilian defender spent six years at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, before moving to Camp Nou in 2008.
And the 30-year-old has admitted he would never celebrate a goal against his ex-club.
“I don’t celebrate goals against Sevilla. I have special affection for them, they opened the door to Europe for me,” he told Barca TV.
“It was a very intense match, there was a lot of quality on the pitch.
“They really hurt us with their counterattacks, but the result had to be ours because we had more chances.”
