‘Rayo more in Malaga’s League’

Sergi Darder is optimistic that Malaga can continue their improvement and go for the win in facing Rayo Vallecano this weekend.

The Anchovies have begun the season with defeats to Valencia and Barcelona followed up with a draw before the international break away to Sevilla.

Sunday’s return to League action sees them host Rayo, a team that one of the Costa del Sol outfit’s midfielders is targeting for three points.

“We have the one point so far and we go into this game with the intent, that this game is one more in our League, where we will push much more,” Darder has told reporters this week.

“The recipe to follow is that from since preseason, trying to get the ball as much as we can, playing a good game, attacking and defensively running like we have been doing so far.

“If the team continue the line of improvement from previous games, the points are going to come for sure.”
