Spain ease to Ecuador win

Spain claimed a 2-0 friendly win over Ecuador this evening thanks to goals from Alvaro Negredo and Santi Cazorla.

Vicente Del Bosque named an experimental starting XI for the match in Guayaquil. Cristian Tello was given his senior international debut, whilst Negredo was placed up front.

Different faces produced a slightly nervy start, but normal service resumed after 25 minutes, when Cazorla crossed for the new Manchester City striker to score.

A host of changes at half time didn’t alter much from La Roja’s point of view though. A backheel from Tello set up Cazorla, who blasted home from the edge of the area.

Inigo Martinez and Koke both made their first appearances in the second 45, but the game petered out and ended 2-0 to the visitors
