Betis line up United test

Real Betis are reportedly set to face Manchester United behind closed doors this coming weekend.

The Andalucians are in England as part of their preseason plans and have so far taken in friendlies away to Huddersfield Town, Bolton Wanderers and Wolverhampton Wanderers, winning each match.

Ahead of games next week with Fulham, Hull City and Everton, Los Beticos are reportedly in line to face a friendly test with Premier League champions Manchester United on Saturday.

It is understood that the Spaniards have agreed to take part in the game at short notice, which will be played behind closed doors at United’s training complex.

Pepe Mel’s preparation work in the UK has been hit by a series of injuries to players, with as many as five being reported as unavailable for training this midweek.
