Roberto Soldado has been taken out of Valencia’s plans for the US tour, but a new issue has hit completion of his sale to Tottenham.
The 28-year-old has largely been expected this week to complete a move to Spurs, after reports at the weekend of a €30m deal being agreed marked his return to training.
However, even as Los Che have removed Soldado from preseason plans to leave for the United States later this week, the move has apparently now hit a new snag.
Superdeporte understand that a dispute over money owed on commission in a previous deal between Valencia and the agency that provides Soldado’s representatives has delayed the Spurs move.
Club President Amadeo Salvo has told reporters this afternoon that the agreement for Soldado’s sale is ‘complete’, but for ‘a problem that has arisen with the agents’.
