Napoli have officially signed Gonzalo Higuain from Real Madrid, but did not confirm the €37m transfer fee.
The deal has been done for several days, but was only formalised this afternoon with a statement on the club website.
“SSC Napoli officialises the signing of Gonzalo Higuain. The Argentine striker, aged 26, arrives from Real Madrid.”
President Aurelio De Laurentiis has also confirmed the news on Twitter.
“This morning we signed the contract with Higuain. As soon as I have a moment, I’ll show you a wonderful photograph we took.”
