Didac Vila could be the next reinforcement to arrive at Real Betis as talks with Milan regarding his signature intensify.
A report in Marca claims negotiations between the two clubs are at an advanced stage, so much so that Los Beticos are confident the left-back [pictured, left] will join Pepe Mel’s squad at the club’s pre-season training camp in Montecastillo on Tuesday.
Didac, 24, is a product of Espanyol’s youth system and moved to Milan for a reported €4m fee in January 2011. However, after only one official appearance for the Serie A giants he returned on a season-long loan to Espanyol in early June of the same year.
At the beginning of the 2012-13 campaign Vila was set to join Valencia on loan, with Los Che having the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season, but the deal was called off after the player failed the required medical.
