The latest club to be linked with Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu is Everton, reports Mundo Deportivo.
The youngster has been courted by several clubs in recent months, despite signing a new contract in May that would see him linked to the Catalans until June 2017.
However, Barca are prepared to let the 19-year-old go out on loan to gain some much-needed experience, but only to a club whose boss will look after the gifted Spanish Under-21 international.
Consequently, the list of clubs seeking Deulofeu’s services has shortened and according to sources inside Barcelona the main contenders appear to be Premier League outfits Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and now Everton.
The Toffees recently appointed Spaniard Roberto Martinez as their new manager following David Moyes’ departure to Manchester United, and Barca bosses see him as the ideal Coach to nurture Deulofeu’s blossoming talent.
