New Real Betis goalkeeper Stephan Andersen is 'looking forward' to playing for the Verdiblancos after his move from Evian.
The 31-year-old has signed a two-year contract with Pepe Mel's men, and the Denmark international has admitted he can't wait to get started.
“This is an opportunity for my career,” he told reporters. “This is a step forward and I'm looking forward to playing in this shirt.
“I know Betis are a great club in Spain, with tradition and history.
“I hope I can enjoy my time here and use my experience to help the team.
“I have not learned too much Spanish, but I will have a teacher and I'm sure in a few months I'll be fine.”
