Victor Valdes doesn’t make the cut, whilst Carles Puyol and Lionel Messi are also absent through respective recoveries from injury. Eric Abidal reportedly skipped training with permission from coaching staff, ahead of announcing his expected departure later this week.
Thiago Alcantara, Marc Muniesa, Marc Bartra, Cristian Tello and Martin Montoya are all absent, having joined up with the Spain Under-21 squad.
