Rayo Vallecano Coach Paco Jemez has claimed that the uncertainty surrounding his job is creating an uneasy atmosphere at the club.
The 43-year-old has guided the Franjirrojos to 10th place in the table, but with his contract up in June, has yet to be offered a new deal.
“I have not given an ultimatum to anyone and they have not given me one,” he told a Press conference.
“But what is certain is that this has been going on for longer than it should.
“It is creating a situation around the club which should not be there.
“It is not easy hearing rumours about your job and it leads to other things.
“My first choice is Rayo. I want to stay here, but they are not my only option.”
Jemez then commented on the game against Levante this Sunday.
“It will be a tough game for us. They have some good players, so it's going to be difficult.”
