Real Madrid defender Raul Albiol has lamented his side's bad luck as they lost to Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey final.
Los Blancos hit the woodwork three times as they lost 2-1 after extra time to their city rivals.
And the centre-back has claimed that his team should have won the match.
“We did enough to win and had very bad luck with hitting the posts,” he told reporters.
“It is obvious that we had clear scoring opportunities and if we had taken them everything would have been different.
“In the second half we played better, we had chances and we have not taken them. Atlético have played their way.
“We are team mates and we have to be united. We all wanted to win today’s match but it hasn’t turned out like that.
“We are just as united now. We knew that today’s was a match everyone wanted to win, the Coach as well as the players, but we have lost and we are disappointed.
“We have to stay united through thick and thin.”
