Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes will leave the club this summer, despite the club hoping he would reconsider his position.
The shot-stopper announced earlier in the season that he would not sign an extension to his contract, which ends in 2014.
The Blaugrana had privately hoped that the Spain international would stay with the team for another few years.
But Radio Barcelona have today confirmed that Valdes will definitely leave at the end of this season, with the Premier League his most likely destination.
Arsenal and Liverpool have both been rumoured with his signature, but AS have also claimed that Monaco could be interested as well.
