Former Real Madrid defender Ivan Helguera has commented on his belief that Jose Mourinho should take a backward step to his coaching philosophy.
The former defender reflected on the Portuguese Coach, who since coming to Spain in 2010 has on and off faced the scrutiny of the media.
“I can appreciate a lot about Mourinho,” Helguera began on EFERadio this week.
“Whilst such a position is continuously lived on the side of error, there are things that he does that I do not like, such as his continued prominence.
“For me, he should be just the opposite, like Del Bosque for example, who credits the players.
“This goes a long way. However, I don’t believe that the perfect Coach does exist.”
