It is exactly 110 years to the day since Atletico Madrid were founded by a group of Basque students studying in the Spanish capital.
Atleti are today celebrating the 110th anniversary of their foundation on April 26, 1903.
The club are founding members of the Spanish League in 1928 and are fifth in all-time appearances in the top flight and number of seasons in La Liga.
Los Colchoneros, who adopted their famous red and white shirt design in 1911 have won nine League titles, nine Cope del Rey, one Supercopa de Espana and six European titles during their 110-year existence.
