‘Malaga even more dangerous’

Osasuna boss Jose Luis Mendilibar has insisted that Malaga will be an evener tougher opponent after their Champions League exit.

The Rojillos travel to La Rosaleda today looking for the three points that could take them eight points clear of the relegation places.

But the Coach has insisted that the Andalusian side will be fired up after their stoppage time elimination from Europe this week.

“They are just in this competition now,” he told a Press conference. “They are surely sore after that game, but everything they've said has been sensible.

“They have some very good players and will certainly compete very well.

“We are five points clear [of relegation], but we cannot rest. I've been in worse situations and escaped relegation, but that will not happen to us.

“Someone will always win and we could get drawn back in. It seems like every year that happens to someone.”
