Rai is confident that Barcelona will continue to struggle in defence and that Paris Saint-Germain will score in their midweek encounter.
The former midfielder played for the French in their 1995 Champions League quarter-final win over Barcelona and is confident of the current PSG team to achieve something similar this week.
Carlo Ancelotti’s team head out the Camp Nou with a 2-2 score-line from the first leg, meaning that they must win the game to guarantee progression to the semi-finals, or at least score twice to cancel out Barca’s away goals’ advantage.
“I am convinced that PSG will score,” Rai told Le Parisien today.
“In the first leg, Barca struggled in defence on several occasions and I am convinced that in the return leg it will be the same.
“Because of their speed, PSG are very dangerous on the counter-attack.”
