Diego Lugano has asserted Malaga’s determination to make it through to the Champions League semi-finals tonight.
The club’s debut campaign in UEFA’s premier club competition has them at 0-0 against Borussia Dortmund heading into tonight’s second leg quarter-final in Germany.
“We’re really going to enjoy this match. Every Malaga supporter deserves to see a top-level game of football,” Lugano told reporters pre-match.
“We’re extremely positive and full of excitement and motivation that we could qualify to the semi-finals here.
“It’ll be a very special match for us, as we’re up against one of the best teams in Europe. We’re determined to continue making history.”
