Gonzalo Higuain has reflected on his belief that Real Madrid are in the right position to win the Champions League this term.
Los Blancos are through to the quarter-finals of the competition where they will face Galatasaray.
“Every time I play in the Champions League, I dream of winning it,” reflected Higuain, who is joined up with the Argentina squad this international break.
“It's a wonderful competition. The team is doing great and looking really strong, and we believe we can win ‘La Decima’.”
The striker also reflected on the uplift he feels on a personal level.
“After having a great performance for my club and getting on the scoresheet, joining up with the national squad has a different feel to it.
“I feel more confident. We have two important matches coming up, and here's hoping I can replicate those goals for Argentina.”
