Celta Vigo have taken action against Iago Aspas and Hugo Mallo for their conduct over the weekend relating to the Galician derby.
Aspas was sent off during the 3-1 defeat at Riazor last Friday for headbutting an opponent and is expected to be handed a four-game suspension as a result.
Mallo, meanwhile, travelled to the game with supporters and was caught on camera in verbal exchanges verbals with Depor fans, whilst he also posted on Twitter pre-game a picture of Deportivo’s badge with ‘for sale’ written on it, in reference to their financial situation.
Celta have reported that both players have been handed fines as punishment for their respective actions.
