Paris Saint-Germain’s Christophe Jallet reflected on how he once joked during a visit to Barcelona’s Camp Nou that he’d one day play there.
The defender is in contention to do just that, though, as his French club have been drawn against La Blaugrana in this year’s Champions League quarter-finals.
“I remember I visited the Camp Nou as a sightseer 10 years ago and joked with my wife, telling her 'maybe one day I'll play here’,” reflected Jallet to reporters today.
“And now I'm on that pitch in three weeks' time. Amazing."
“We know our chances to reach the last four are slim, but we also know that there might be a great achievement in store for us, and either way it's an opportunity take it to the next level as we are still growing as a team.”
