Premier League club Tottenham could make a move for Gonzalo Higuain, according to reports in the British Press.
The Guardian believe that Andre Villas-Boas' side want to off-set to likely departure of Gareth Bale, and bring in the Real Madrid striker.
Los Blancos have been heavily linked with a move for the Wales international, and the newspaper has claimed that the north London club could lower their €70m asking-price, were they to receive the former River Plate man in return.
Higuain has been plagued by injury this season, but has still managed to score nine goals in 18 appearances.
