Cazorla: Football in Spain is boring

Arsenal playmaker Santi Cazorla has revealed he prefers playing in England and has insisted that football in Spain is 'boring'.

The 28-year-old joined the north London side from Malaga in the summer, and he believes that the Premier League is more fun to watch than La Liga.

“Compared to Spain, football here [in England] is less tactical, but more fun to watch,” he told the Daily Mail.

“There's too much technique in Spain and they are held back by it. This makes the matches more boring.

“There's a better pace in England. Teams always want to attack and score goals.

“In Spain they are locked down by tactics. And the atmosphere in the Premier League is amazing.”
