Valencia boss Ernesto Valverde has claimed his side were 'naïve' as they lost to Paris Saint-Germain at Mestalla.
A late Adil Rami strike was not enough for Los Che, as first half goals from Ezequiel Lavezzi and Javier Pastore gave the French side a 2-1 first-leg lead.
And the 49-year-old has claimed that despite a lack of concentration at the back, his team still have some hope.
“PSG were very strong,” he told a Press conference. “Every counter-attack they created caused us a lot of trouble.
“The truth is that maybe we were too naïve, losing possession too much, which unbalanced the game.
“We possible made PSG's taks a little easier.
“But we scored a goal at the end and we had other chances, so that gives us hope.”
