Atletico Madrid will appeal a court judgement insisting that they have to pay Mediapro €9.8m for a breach of contract.
EFE have claimed that the capital side will make an official appeal after District Court 44 in Madrid ordered the club to pay just under €10m to the media outlet after the Rojiblancos gave their television rights to Digital +.
Diego Simeone's side had, amongst others, threatened strike action at the start of the season after Mediapro, who show the majority of the live games in Spain, had re-jigged kick-off times in conjuction with the League authorities.
