Barcelona will come face to face with Pep Guardiola and his new club Bayern Munich during the summer as part of preseason preparations.
The two clubs have agreed a deal today that will see Guardiola’s employers from 2013-14 onwards play host to the Catalans in a preseason friendly.
Organised for July 24 at the Allianz Arena, the ‘Uli Hoeness Cup’ match will honour the former footballer and current Bayern President.
The fixture will represent a point of intrigue, as the Bundesliga outfit will be coached by then by Guardiola, who will comes up against the team in Barca that he won 14 major honours with from 2008 to 2012.
