Mallorca majority shareholder Llorenc Serra Ferrer will call a Press conference this afternoon, reportedly to announce the sacking of Coach Joaquin Caparros.
The technician, who took the club to the brink of European qualification last term, has endured a miserable 2012-13 so far, whilst defeat at the weekend was a fourth consecutive reverse and left the team 19th in the table.
Vice-President and sporting director also, Serra Ferrer has otherwise been believed to be Caparros’ main supporter in a boardroom where other members have already publicly called for his removal from the bench.
The majority shareholder has called a Press conference for this afternoon, where he will ‘discuss the delicate situation’ of the team. It is believed that he will make official Caparros’ removal as Coach.
