Getafe have picked up young full-back Sergio Escudero on loan from Schalke until the end of the season.
The Madrid outfit were in the market this month for cover at full-back with regular Mane ruled out until at least April through injury.
Linked with Real Sociedad’s Jose Angel, the club have confirmed today that they have brought in Spanish 23-year-old Escudero from Bundesliga outfit Schalke.
Former Murcia left-back Escudero, as confirmed by Getafe via their official website, joins on loan until the end of the season, but will not be available for this weekend’s match at Real Madrid.
Esucdero has been with Schalke since the summer of 2010 but has struggled for regular game-time.
