Granada’s training worries Anquela

Juan Antonio Anquela admitted that he was less than impressed with his Granada players’ efforts in training this week, ahead of the test against Getafe.

The struggling Andalucians travel out to Madrid on Monday evening currently just a point and a place above the relegation zone.

“Thursday’s work is no reference at all. If we want to be a team then they must show it. I finished yesterday’s session not at all happy, they told me nothing but I drew conclusions,” Anquela revealed to reporters today.

“I hope that in such situations the team shows me something, that they want to play, and few demonstrated to me that they wanted to play.”

Anquela then reflected that Getafe will represent a test for his side this weekend.

“Getafe are a team strong in all facets of the game. They are well-armed in all parts of the field. They are going through a tough spell, like all teams do, but they will be very complicated opponents, like all the teams in the Primera are.”
