Neymar has ‘no intention’ of moving

Barcelona target Neymar has said happiness with his life, and not fear, is what’s stopping him moving to Europe.

The young Brazilian striker, currently employed by Santos, has been linked with a move to Europe for some time now but speculation regarding a switch to Barca has grown particularly intense in recent times, with various Blaugrana players and President Sandro Rosell openly discussing the prospect.

“I dream of going to Europe, but the right time has not come,” the 20-year-old told Globoesporte. “I’m good at Santos, near my family and friends.

“I have no intention of moving now, not because of fear, but because of how happy I am here. Happiness comes first.”

Neymar, who is often said to be one of the world’s best players despite his youth, then briefly discussed the Ballon d’Or.

“Lionel Messi had an extraordinary season. And Cristiano Ronaldo is so exciting. But Messi will win.”
