‘Osasuna should have won’

Sisinio Gonzalez ‘Sisi’ says that Osasuna are regretting the missed opportunity presented to them yesterday against Malaga.

Los Rojillos recorded a 0-0 draw and, despite seeing the visiting Andalucians hold most of the possession, they had the better chances in front of goal, including am incorrectly disallowed goal from Kike Sola.

“We left with the feeling that we could have and should have won,” Sisi told reporters today.

“Especially in seeing the second half where we went for the win and created chances do I believe that, we are left with the feeling that we could have and should have picked up the points.

“As for the feelings from the last two games, we and the public are very happy and proud, we are more of a team and we are creating more chances.

“Malaga are a great team, we played to our limits. It is true though that before our last two games we had done badly, now we have to very well to improve the position in the table.

“It is true that our current position is not good, but in the end it is always about reaching 40 points. We have to take each game separately, so next week’s trip to Real Sociedad we are going into looking for the win.”
