Former Barcelona midfielder Alexander Hleb has been recalled to the Belarus squad for Friday's World Cup qualifier against Spain.
Hleb played for Barca from 2008 to 2012 but made only 19 La Liga appearances and went out on loan on three occasions.
His first national team call up since 2010 is reward for his good form with Belarusian champions BATE Borisov. BATE have been the surprise package of the Champions League so far, defeating both Lille and Bayern Munich 3-1.
