Santos thinking towards Kaka

Santos Coach Muricy Ramalho has urged his team to replace the departed Paulo Henrique Ganso with Real Madrid’s Ricky Kaka.

Ganso transferred from Santos to Sao Paulo earlier this week for an initial fee believed to be around the €9m mark and Ramalho has urged his club to act fast for a replacement.

“Robinho, Diego and Kaka, they are important players, anything is possible. Who would imagine that Sao Paulo could pay that amount for Ganso. All three players for us are a possibility,” he told reporters today.

“Beyond the economic question, we must assess other aspects. And we must do it now, not in two weeks.

“We will have to harass the players we currently have. It isn’t my style, but you cannot do a cost analysis without disturbing the players. We need to support the players we have here, yet we must also bring in some men of great standing.”

Kaka has yet to make an appearance for Real Madrid this season.
