Babovic sees room to improve

Stefan Babovic believes he could have done better on his Real Zaragoza debut at the weekend, but sees potential for his and his team’s improvement.

The Aragonese lost 2-0 at Anoeta, with summer arrival from Partizan Babovic making his first appearance for the club.

“Certainly it wasn’t my best game, I think I can play better,” he reflected to reporters today.

“I need games to improve my fitness and pace.”

The team have so far struggled to have Glenn Loovens, Ivan Obradovic, Apono and Romaric on the pitch at the same time, players that Babovic believes can make a difference.

“Survival is the team’s goal, and when we get our best players back we will improve. At Real Sociedad it was an even game, but we were not dangerous in attack.”
