After falling out with his Coach at Angolan club Kabuscorp, 40-year-old Rivaldo has hinted that he may consider retirement.
The former Deportivo La Coruna and Barcelona forward is currently with his 13th different club and into his third decade as a professional footballer.
However, he has been dropped by Russian Coach Viktor Bondarenko and taken to Twitter to reveal his frustration.
“Every day I am more surprised with football,” he posted. “Our Coach will leave on the bench the team’s top three scorers – Mpele Mpele, Sawu and me.
“Our team has scored 32 goals so far this season and the three of us have scored 22 of those. Besides, I am the second top scorer in the League, I do not understand.
“After the things that I am seeing, I think that I might have to stop playing football.”
