Ronaldo wants to leave Madrid claim

According to Cadena SER’s El Larguero programme, Cristiano Ronaldo has told Real Madrid he wants to leave the club.

The Portuguese was spotted with President Florentino Perez and general manager Jose Angel Sanchez at Michael Essien’s presentation as a Madrid player on Saturday, where it is claimed he told the pair he no longer felt comfortable at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ronaldo did not specify the reasons but went on to score two goals for Jose Mourinho’s men in their 3-0 home win over Granada, but refused to celebrate either.

In addition, after the game Ronaldo said cryptically that he was ’unhappy, and people at the club know why’.

El Larguero also maintained the former Manchester United player does not have a good relationship with certain members of Los Blancos’ squad, in particular Marcelo who recently commented that goalkeeper Iker Casillas would be a worthy winner of the Ballon d’Or [to the detriment of Ronaldo].

Other sources allege the player was hoping to renegotiate his contract with the Spanish champions in view of the performances he has put in over the past two seasons
