Valencia President Manuel Llorente was left frustrated after seeing Victor Ruiz’s goal disallowed goal in the 1-0 defeat at Barcelona.
“I have my doubts about the goal we had chalked off. Whenever we play Barcelona or Real Madrid there is always something that happens.
“It is more so with Madrid but also with Barcelona.” he told a Press conference.
Llorente was referring to Victor Ruiz’s disallowed effort on the hour mark, when his tap-in for what would have been a Valencia equaliser was ruled out for offside.
On the game, Llorente praised Barca but also thought Los Che could have at least salvaged a point.
“We had too much respect for them in the first half but in the second half we played much better. I think if it had gone on much longer we would have got a draw.
“However, Valencia competed well and played at a very high level, so I am satisfied,” he added.
