Deportivo de La Coruna striker Riki says his team will need to be reinforced before the start of the 2012-13 campaign.
The Galicians have returned to La Primera after a one-year absence and the veteran 31-year-old believes Depor are still lacking another forward and defensive cover.
“We all know that we need to strengthen in two areas and the club are working on that,” the former Getafe man told a Press conference.
“It is not easy because the market is very difficult and the situation is complicated, but the President knows the situation and will be sure of who he brings in.
Nonetheless, Riki expressed a desire that new blood must arrive soon with the 2012-13 season just four weeks ago and players having to fit in almost immediately.
“Everybody is looking to sign players and with a deadline of August 31 the sooner they come the better, although we will play with the same philosophy as last year.
“We are a team that likes to control the ball, get down the wings and create danger,” he added.
