Michael Essien has admitted that he is happy to be at Real Madrid with his 'daddy', Jose Mourinho.
The Ghana international has revealed that he has a special relationship with his former Chelsea boss, and has insisted that the team are raring to go ahead of their clash with Manchester United tomorrow.
“I am enjoying every minute with my daddy Mourinho,” he told a Press conference.
“My dad has given me the opportunity to be here and I'm enjoying every minute of it.
“I try to work hard for the team and want to win every single game. He's always happy and working hard with the players.
“We are not afraid of tomorrow because the Champions League is everything for us.
“We are excited and we know it will be hard, but the team is ready.
“I've played against them a few times in the Premier League, but the Champions League is completely different.
“They have a great team with great quality.”
