Juan Ignacio Martinez thought his Levante side deserved to beat Celta Vigo, whereas Abel Resino highlighted the importance of the win.
An early goal from Augusto Fernandez was enough to give the Celestes all three points.
But the Granotes Coach was insistent that his team should not have lost.
“Celta did little today to take all the points,” he told a Press conference. “But you have to congratulate them.
“We deserved at least a point, but that's not how it works.
“I accept any criticism fans may have. We have to take it on the chin.”
Resino though, admitted that it was vital they won to keep alive their hopes of survival.
“It was a game, given the situation we are in, with a lot of tension,” he told a Press conference.
“The first half was all Celta and the second they dominated – but we managed to defend the points.
“It was a vital three points and we have to believe we can stay up.”
