PRIMERA MATCH REPORT

Primera Week 26 - 3 Mar 2013 (14.00 UK)
Granada 1 - 2 Mallorca
Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes

Lucas Alcaraz has claimed that his side's game against Mallorca 'gave them nothing', whilst Gregorio Manzano insisted that the win can see them survive.

El Grana let slip a one-goal lead with Tomer Hemed scoring the winner in the 94th minute for the Islanders.

And the 46-year-old has insisted that his men deserved more from the match.

“We deserved something from this game,” he told a Press conference. “But instead it gave us nothing.

“This game sums up our season perfectly – they had success in front of goal, and we didn't.

“That's what decided this game.”

The 56-year-old Coach meanwhile believes that this win can give them the confidence required to survive.

“The players desperately wanted this win,” he told a Press conference. “These are three points of strength and confidence.

“It proves we can get out of this situation.

“To win away from home is difficult in situations like ours, but we've done it and I'm delighted.”
