Juan Ignacio Martinez and Ernesto Valverde were both happy with their sides as they played out a 2-2 draw at Mestalla.
Jose Barkero struck in the 89th minute to ensure a share of the points, and the Granotes Coach insisted that it was a fair result, whilst also commenting on Obafemi Martins' insistence that he wants to leave the club.
“We are all very happy with the result,” he told a Press conference. “Perhaps we were a little lucky, but we were up against a great team in Valencia.
“They have greatly improved since the arrival of Ernesto Valverde.
“Martins' comments have distracted us. But we needed him here with us and there were no complaints.”
The 49-year-old Los Che meanwhile, was happy with the performance of his players.
“I think we deserved more from the game,” he told reporters. “We know how Levante play, and in the end it was a mistake the cost us.
“It was probably closer to 3-1 than 2-2, but I'm happy with the way we played.”
