Luis Garcia admitted he was 'very happy with his side as they defeated Celta Vigo, whilst Paco Herrera revealed his men were ‘crestfallen’.
Goals from Adrian Colunga, Diego Castro and Federico Fernandez gave the Azulones the win at Coliseum Alfonso Perez.
And the 40-year-old tactician has praised his players after they moved up to 11th in the table.
“We read the game very well,” he told a Press conference. “It was a great match from us and I am very happy.
“We're playing well at home, which is always important for any club.
“We have to be optimistic going forward. During the next five or six games we need as many points as possible, and then anything can happen.”
The 59-year-old Celestes boss meanwhile, insisted that he will work harder than ever to reverse the current situation.
“If the team had the same belief I have, we would be doing better,” he told a Press conference.
“But it is my job to convince the players that we are good enough. My team are very discouraged and very crestfallen after the defeat.
“I have to try and reverse this current trend.”
