PRIMERA MATCH REPORT

Primera Week 23 - 10 Feb 2013 (14.00 UK)
Deportivo 0 - 3 Granada
Estadio Municipal de Riazor

Domingos Paciencia claimed that he was to blame for his team’s loss, whilst Lucas Alcaraz insisted there was still room for improvement from his men.

The Turcos remain rooted to the bottom of the table after going down to a heavy defeat against El Grana.

And the recently-arrived Portuguese Coach has insisted that he wants to stay at the club, despite being drafted into a meeting with the President and sporting director.

“I am not worried about me, I'm worried about Deportivo,” he told a Press conference. “Whatever happens, I want to stay here.

“I am responsible for this result, but I will not give up.

“I am having a meeting with the President and the sporting director, and if the solution is for me to leave, then I have to accept that.”

The new El Grana Coach has claimed that the scoreline doesn't necessarily reflect the game itself.

“It was a difficult game for us today,” he told a Press conference. “Deportivo played with a lot of intensity and I think the game was a lot more complicated than the scoreline suggests.

“In time we will gather an identity, and hopefully that will come soon. But there is certainly room for improvement.

“We've won against Real Madrid and again here, so we have to use those results to move forward.”
