Ernesto Valverde conceded that he was delighted to get all three points, whilst Paco Herrera was gutted to concede a last minute goal.
Nelson Valdez scored in the 93rd minute to secure a 1-0 win at Balaidos, and the 49-year-old admitted he was joyous after the final whistle.
“As the game progressed I thought we really took control,” he told a Press conference. “We had hope right until the end, but it did look for a while like it would end 0-0.
“When we did score, it's obviously hard for Celta, but for us it was brilliant.
“It was a complicated match and I'm glad we've managed to come away with the three points.”
The 59-year-old meanwhile claimed that a lack of concentration cost them a point.
“It was pretty tough to lose in the last 10 seconds like that,” he told a Press conference. “That has really dented our confidence.
“You work all week, and then you lose like that – it's hard.
“A draw would have been a good result for us, and we looked like we were going to get it.
“But they were stronger than us and caught us out right at the end.”
