Jose Luis Mendilibar admitted that his side's first goal was offside, but Domingos Paciencia didn’t think the refereeing decisions were to blame for his team’s loss.
The Rojillos defeated Domingos Pacienca's team 2-1 at El Sadar on Sunday afternoon, but the 51-year-old conceded that Kiki Sola's strike should have been disallowed for offside.
“The first thing I did when we scored was look at the linesman,” he told a Press conference.
“In 20 games this season though, that's the first time the officials have given us something.
“The most important thing is that we have got the three points. We looked tired towards the end of the game, but luckily we held out.”
The new Coach at Riazor however was fuming with his team after the final whistle.
“That is not a good result at all,” he told a Press conference. “We came here to win.
“Our first half was very bad indeed. I really disliked the football we were playing – it was very ugly.
“Their first goal was clearly offside, but we are responsible for the result. It was important not to lose here, but we were poor.”
