Ernesto Valverde thought his side were worthy winners, whilst Michel was furious with his players in defeat.
Two second half Roberto Soldado goals were enough to give Los Che the three points that takes them up to seventh in the table.
And the 48-year-old Coach has claimed that his men deserved their win.
“In the first half we controlled the game,” he told a Press conference. “But we just lacked the killer instinct.
“We lost the ball in dangerous areas and in that sense we should be more forceful – but my team did very well.”
Michel meanwhile was outraged by his team’s performance.
“We were very disappointing,” he told a Press conference. “It seems my players do not know the situation they are in.
“We only have 22 points, and that is a huge problem.
“We cannot allow this anymore. We have to face this situation head-on and share the responsibility.”
