Joaquin Caparros conceded that his side did not play well, whilst Pepe Mel was furious with the officials.
Goals from Victor Casadesus and a controversial Javi Marquez penalty were enough to give the Islanders only their fourth win of the campaign.
And although the 57-year-old was pleased with three points, he did admit that his men were outplayed.
“We are very happy with the three points,” he told a Press conference. “But we have not played well.
“Having said that, we competed hard and were effective in the final third. We did well to come from behind and win.”
Mel meanwhile was upset with the match officials, but did concede that his players were partly to blame for the loss.
“We got screwed,” he told a Press conference. “The linesman decided the contact was inside, and that clearly had impact on the result.
“We had three or four opportunities to make it 2-0, and we didn't take them.
“That is our fault, but I think the result is unfair.”
